Possible Projects
I've been really busy lately finishing this massive project for school, so I haven't had time for any new projects. I have a really bad procrastination problem when it comes to schoolwork. I'm not quite sure what I'll make next. Right now I'm thinking maybe a potato gun or an organizer for a new screwdriver set, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

How to Make a Beverage Stacker
I couldn't fit all my beverages in the fridge so I tried to stack them in a pyramid shape. This did not work at all and I gave up after about 5 minutes of trying. You see, every time one of the bottom cans rolled away, causing the stack to collapse.
After searching the web I found two solutions.
- The binder clip idea link (wouldn't work for me because my fridge has glass shelves)
- The Fridge Monkey link (I didn't want to buy one)
Since neither of the above worked for me I decided to make my own beverage stacker, and give instructions on how to make one.
What you will need:
- some fabric
- scrap wood ( I used 3/4" dowels)
- a saw, scissors, and a stapler
Preparing the Materials: First, you need to cut your fabric into a 5" x 13.5" rectangle. You could fold back and sew the edges if you want to make it look nice, I didn't. Just make sure the dimensions are right. Next, you need to cut your dowels into six 5" long pieces and sand off any sharp edges.
Layout: Mark a line every 2 5/8" (The diameter of regular pop/beer cans) to show where to attach the dowels. The length of fabric I gave you should leave a bit of room on each end.
Attaching the dowels: Now, staple one dowel along each line you marked. Try to keep them all parallel. When you finish fastening all the dowels it should look something like this:

Uses For Broken Earbuds
I had two pairs of broken earbuds made by Apple. I felt bad throwing them out so I decided to get creative and put them to use.
First, I decided that they would make some pretty cool shoelaces.
Looking back, I think it would have just been easier to take care of my things in the first place. I guess I learned my lesson the fun way.

I quickly changed my mind and realized that I liked regular laces better, so I cut off the plug ( 3.5mm aux) and made a cardboard docking station. It only had one speaker, two would have sounded much better.

Finally, I took the little speakers out and used them as fridge magnets.

New Headphones
I finally got some new headphones. I've only tried them twice, but so far they sound great. Now, I just need to figure out what to do with thoes pesky, old, broken earbuds. Once I decide, I'll be sure to post some pictures and descriptions.

My New Cork Board - No Tools Required
I was changing around my room this weekend when I came across twelve cork squares. They were meant to protect surfaces from hot pots and pans, but I decided they would be more useful on my wall where I could pin things to them.
There was one problem, however, the cork was too thin, so the tacks could go all the way through and put holes in the wall. I solved this by glueing the squares to an old pice of pegboard I found in the garage. Now, my wall will stay hole-free, and it will be much easier to move the cork if I ever shift my furniature again!

My First Post (Introduction)
I'm new to blogging so it thought I'd introduce my self first. My name is Liam and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I am currently in high school, and when I’m not playing sports or finishing homework I'm tinkering. Now, when I say "tinkering" i mean making, building, fixing, or modifying things. This includes fixing cars, building circuits, and everything in between. I decided to start blogging because i wanted to document my creations and share them with the world. I'm not sure where I will begin or where I will end up, but I'm sure I'll learn a lot along the way. Wish me luck, and if you have any suggestions or requests fell free to leave a comment.
